Service Reviews...

"I needed boiler door joints urgently for my boiler test on my new roller but wasn’t sure which type would be suitable so needed some advice.   I called Seddon and Black who advised me to use Pilotseal.  The joints arrived the next day so I could carry out my steam test. I found Pilotseal excellent and will definitely use them again in the future.

Service was brilliant, so much so that I’ve ordered further items from them today" - Andy Williams, 04/02/2011

"Many thanks and excellent service" - Andy Smith, 07/01/2011

Lanotec Citra Force Concentrate

"Worked well diluted 1:3 at removing 25 years worth of oil and grease from hidden parts on our roller - lot nicer and easier to use than traditional engine cleaners, less mess and even smells good. Will certainly use it again."  Tuesday 18 January 2011, 13: 55 PM.  By Andrew Black

Pilotseal Boiler Door Joints

"I recently replaced the two bottom front mud lid door joints on my Burrell with PilotSeal gaskets with immediate and very reassuring results. I have endured weeping doors for sometime now despite new lids and being scrupulously attentive to detail at each fitting. I was advised by an experienced engine owner to try PilotSeal which were well suited to our boiler working pressure of 160psi. The fitting process could nor have been simpler. Use no jointing compounds or grease just ensure all surfaces are very well cleaned to smooth surfaces. Fit the lid and gasket, make sure it's water tight by hand tightening, light the fire and gently follow up the bridge nut as the heat comes on and the pressure rises. Use the spanner just to obtain a slight squeeze fit. That's it. This is the end of asbestos based joints for me!"  Saturday 21 August 2010, 07: 23 AM.  By David Smith
